Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has vowed to complete the digitization of lands and properties, as part of the party’s manifesto unveiled in Takoradi.
Bawumia promised that the digitalization of lands titling and registration will enable property owners to use their assets as collateral to secure capital for business growth and expansion.
“We will also complete the digitalization of lands titling and registration to allow owners to use their properties as quolatoral to raise capital for their business growth and expansion.”,” he stated.
Bawumia also emphasized the introduction of a growth mindset curriculum in schools if elected.
He stressed the importance of instilling a mindset of possibilities in students from an early age, with a curriculum designed to enhance problem-solving, risk-taking, opportunity spotting, and design thinking skills.
“The mindset of possibilities must be inculcated into our children from homes and our schools,” Bawumia asserted.
As the NPP ramps up its campaign, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the party’s running mate, defended Bawumia against corruption allegations, contrasting the Vice President’s clean record with that of opposition leader John Mahama.
Prempeh’s remarks highlight the NPP’s effort to bolster Bawumia’s reputation and showcase the party’s track record, including the creation of 2.1 million jobs.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia campaign, framed the upcoming election as a choice between the NPP’s proven achievements and the opposition’s promises.
