The newly appointed Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Emmanuel Teye Cudjoe, has been officially introduced to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The introduction was conducted by his predecessor, DCOP Frank Abrokwa, during a brief ceremony on Friday, February 28, 2025.
The event was attended by senior police officers, including ACP Stephen K. Kwakye, the Deputy Regional Commander, and ACP Ameyaw Afriyie, the Manhyia District Commander, marking a significant moment in regional law enforcement leadership.
During the meeting, DCOP Abrokwa expressed gratitude to the Asantehene and traditional leaders for their support throughout his tenure.
He further urged them to extend the same cooperation to DCOP Cudjoe to ensure continued peace and security in the region.
In response, DCOP Cudjoe assured Otumfuo Osei Tutu II of his commitment to upholding law and order.
He called on traditional leaders and stakeholders to collaborate with the police to enhance security efforts across the Ashanti Region.
