A two-year-old pupil of Class-Peters Memorial School – Bubiashie, Accra, has attracted attention after being captured helping to fill potholes with sand in his community.
A video sighted by ABC News GH shows little Thaddeus Henry Nii Kpakpo Buckman carrying sand gathered along the roadside and pouring it into potholes on Homowo Street, Bubiashie, as part of an effort to improve the condition of the road.
The young boy was seen working alongside two women believed to be his relatives, who were also assisting with the activity.
Thaddeus’ participation formed part of a community sanitation exercise led by Evangelist Abraham Josiah-Nelson of the Evangelist Mt. Ararat Methodist Society, Bubiashie, on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The initiative brought together residents who engaged in cleaning activities and other efforts aimed at improving the environment within the community.
The sight of the toddler actively contributing to the exercise has drawn attention, with many praising the early demonstration of responsibility and community spirit.
The video was shared by MC Prince Charles on behalf of Thaddeus Henry Nii Kpakpo Buckman and Evangelist Abraham Josiah-Nelson, and was addressed to President John Dramani Mahama through the Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House, Hon. Julius Debrah, and the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey.
