Outstanding nurse and midwife trainees from across Ghana were recognised for their exceptional academic, clinical and leadership achievements at the Ghana Nurse Midwife Trainees Association (GNMTA) Excellence Awards held at the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Among the distinguished award recipients was Ebenezer Djoboah-Darling, popularly known as Darling The Great, who was honoured with the prestigious Best Clinician Award in recognition of his exceptional clinical competence and commitment to professional excellence.
Mr. Djoboah Darling was unable to attend the ceremony due to a prior official engagement. In his absence, the National Public Relations Officer of the GNMTA, Honourable Sarah Frimpong, received the award on his behalf.
As part of the honour, he received a plaque, a citation and an electrical appliance in recognition of his outstanding performance and dedication to clinical practice.
The GNMTA Excellence Awards celebrate trainee nurses and midwives who have demonstrated excellence in academics, clinical practice, leadership and service. The annual event serves as a platform to acknowledge outstanding performance while encouraging professionalism and high standards within Ghana’s nursing and midwifery profession.
