A horrific act of violence unfolded in the Diaso community of Upper Denkyira West, Central Region, on January 9, 2025, when a man allegedly beheaded his girlfriend over suspicions of infidelity.
Witnesses say the couple was seen earlier in the day, but later, when the woman failed to contact her friends, they became concerned.
Upon visiting the boyfriend’s house, they discovered her lifeless body in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds to her neck.
The boyfriend, identified as the suspect, immediately fled the scene.
Authorities are investigating the crime, though the suspect remains at large.
This is the second case of a woman being murdered in the region in less than a week, both stemming from jealousy and suspicion of cheating.
