The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has appointed David Asamoah as its new Acting Managing Director, following the resignation of Samuel Dubik Mahama on September 25.
The appointment was officially announced by ECG Board Chairman, Alexander Afenyo Markin.
Asamoah, who previously served as Deputy Managing Director in charge of Commercial Services, brings years of experience to the role.
David Asamoah’s tenure at ECG has seen him hold key positions, including Sectional Manager of Revenue in charge of Technical Investigation.
In that capacity, he played a crucial role in addressing cases of illegal power connections, even testifying in court against companies involved in such practices.
