The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned emergency maintenance operation on its MBH Prepayment Server.
The three-day maintenance is set to commence on Friday, September 20, at 11:00 pm, and will continue until Sunday, September 22, at 11:00 pm.
During this period, the MBH Prepayment system will be unavailable, affecting customers who rely on it to purchase electricity credits.
In a statement released by ECG, the company advised all MBH Prepayment customers to purchase sufficient electricity credit before the scheduled maintenance begins.
“This precaution is necessary to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the maintenance period,” ECG emphasized, urging customers to take proactive steps to avoid any disruptions in power supply.
ECG has also apologized for any inconvenience the maintenance may cause, expressing appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of its customers.
The maintenance is deemed crucial to improve the performance and reliability of the prepayment server, and the company is working to ensure a smooth transition once the system is back online.
