Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament today, marking his first budget presentation since his appointment in February 2024.
The review, mandated by Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921), will provide updates on the implementation of the 2024 Budget, revised financial plans, and an updated economic outlook for Ghana.
A statement from the Ministry on July 22 outlined that the review would address economic and fiscal performance for the first half of the year, growth measures, revenue and expenditure performance, financing, and debt sustainability.
Dr. Amin Adam will update Parliament on the $3 billion IMF-supported Post-COVID-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG).
