Madam Fuseina Fuseini, a teacher at the Madina SDA Basic School in the Greater Accra Region, has been named Ghana’s Most Outstanding Teacher at the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize awards.
The prestigious award, which coincided with World Teachers Day, recognizes her exceptional contributions to the nation’s education system. Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum personally presented the award, honoring her dedication to shaping young minds.
This year’s event, themed “Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education,” highlighted the critical role of teachers in influencing educational policies and practices. The award celebrates educators who go beyond the classroom to impact national education positively.
