Nana Kwaku Agyemang, a sports analyst, has criticized the Ghana Football Association’s criteria for appointing coaches.
He believes the FA do not go according to its own criteria but rather goes for people it can manipulate.
He said this on ABC in the morning following the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for AFCON 2025.
“In any serious country, the President of the football association would have resigned and blocked. But here we don’t know about resignation. It the same with the coach,” he said.
“Otto Addo came again despite the fact the criteria that the GFA has publicized, he didn’t meet them. But the GFA appointed him because they could manipulate and interfere in his selection criteria. And i think that Kurt Okraku has appointed,” he added.
He further stated that GFA President, Kurt Okraku is unapologetic but rather gaslighting Ghanaians.
He said this on ABC in the morning after Kurt Okraku took to social media to write about the failure of the Black Stars for the AFCON 2025. He believes Kurt Okraku should rather resign.
