The Chief Executive Officer for Petroleum Hub Development Company, Dr Tony Aubynn has stated that the government of Ghana will need about $62billion to complete the petroleum hub project in the Jomoro District.
He made this statement when the executive of the company paid a courtesy visit to the Western Regional House Chiefs to have an interaction and get ideas from the chiefs of the region.

Speaking on the floor of the House Of Chiefs, Dr Tony Aubynn stated that, the government will need to invest about $62billion in the hub for it to be completed.

He explained that, the hub will have tank farms, refineries and other important facilities that will help in the running of the hub.
Dr Tony Aubynn further stated that, with the completion of the hub, it will create about 780,000 jobs for the youths in the region and that they will put in their efforts to complete.

He explained that, the company will soon start training program for the youths in the region to be able to get employment from the company
The President of the Western Regional House Chiefs and Omanhene Of Essikado Traditional Area, Nana Kwabena Nketsiah IV congratulated Dr Tony Aubynn for his appointment and urged him to continue his good works he has been doing.

He therefore tasked him to protect the lands for the projects and make good use out of the land for the projects for the development of Western Region and Ghana at large.
