President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared his government’s unmatched accomplishments in infrastructure development, asserting that his administration has built more roads and interchanges than any other in Ghana’s history.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Flower Pot Interchange in Accra on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the President emphasized his commitment to national progress through strategic investments in roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals.
The President highlighted several notable projects in the Greater Accra Region, including the completion of the Pokuase Interchange, the Tema Motorway Interchange Phase I, the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange Phase I, and the East Legon Underpass.
“These projects symbolize a Ghana that works for everyone,” he stated, adding that the Flower Pot Interchange was a testament to his administration’s vision of transforming the nation’s infrastructure.
President Akufo-Addo also pointed to key developments outside the capital, such as the first-ever interchanges in the Eastern Region at Suhum and in the Northern Region at Tamale.
“Each of these projects tells a story of commitment to a Ghana that is continuously moving forward,” he said, stressing the nationwide impact of his government’s efforts.
