Ghana’s Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has urged the Black Stars to demonstrate their superiority in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
As the team returns to international action during the March break, Adams delivered a motivational speech, reminding the players of their quality and ability to compete at the highest level.
“I just told the players that there is nobody better than them on this African continent,” Adams told journalists. “So they should know that they are good, and they must get out there and show that on the field of play.”
The Black Stars will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before traveling to Morocco to take on Madagascar on Monday, March 24.
Currently sitting second in Group I with nine points, level with leaders Comoros, Ghana has the opportunity to seize the top spot with two victories. A strong performance in these matches will bolster their hopes of securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
