President John Dramani Mahama has approved the appointment of key individuals to the Office of the Vice President, tasking them with driving the ambitious “Resetting Ghana agenda” to build a nation that reflects the aspirations of its people.
The announcement, made in a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President, highlights a team of seasoned professionals poised to bring expertise and strategic direction to Ghana’s governance.
The appointments include Alex Segbefia as Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Maame Ama Pratt as Press Secretary, and Samuel Ofosu Ampofo as Policy Adviser for Political Affairs.
Others named are Mrs. Alberta Graham as Head of Administration, Professor Theresah Ennin as Special Aide, Ms. Daniella Mavis Mathias as Secretary, Prof. Sharif Mahmud Khalid and Dr. Hamza Zakaria as Policy Advisers for Economic Affairs, Ms. Mansa Amoa Awuah for Finance, and Dr. Miriam Rahinatu Iddrisu for the Social Sector.
President Mahama urged the appointees to leverage their “wealth of experience and expertise” to achieve the vision of a prosperous Ghana, underscoring the critical role the Vice President’s office will play in shaping the future of the nation.
