The Ministry of Finance has officially moved its offices to Kanda in Accra and will commence full operations at the new location from Monday, February 9.
In a press release issued on Friday, February 6, the Ministry announced the relocation, describing it as part of broader efforts to improve efficiency and service delivery. “The Ministry of Finance wishes to inform the general public that it has officially relocated its offices to Kanda, Accra,” the statement said.
According to the Ministry, the move is expected to enhance its operational capacity and strengthen coordination across its departments. “This relocation forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance the operational efficiency, coordination, and responsiveness of the Ministry in the discharge of its mandate,” the release noted.
The Ministry further clarified that the office complex was not constructed by the current administration. “The public is further informed that the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority prior to the current administration assuming office,” the statement added.
With the relocation now complete, the Ministry has directed that all official engagements be conducted at the new premises. “All official correspondence, visits, and inquiries should henceforth be directed to the new location,” it said, while assuring the public that existing telephone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged.
The new offices are located on Tumu Avenue, Kanda, Accra, with the digital address GV-002-6511. The Ministry’s postal address remains P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra, Ghana.
