The National Service Scheme (NSS) has taken a crucial step by releasing the first batch of PIN codes, facilitating the enrollment of 13,353 eligible Ghanaian-trained teachers for their mandatory one-year national service in the 2024 service year.
Prospective service personnel, particularly trained teachers, are urged to promptly utilize the provided PIN codes to enroll and prepare for deployment through the scheme’s online platform, accessible at https://www.nss.gov.gh/.
To initiate the enrollment process, eligible individuals are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢40. This payment can be made conveniently at any branch of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB).
Additionally, as an alternative payment method, prospective service personnel can opt to pay GH¢41 through MTN MoMo for access to the main enrollment platform.
The enrollment window is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, February 14, and will conclude on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. It is imperative for eligible, trained teachers to adhere to the stipulated timeline to complete their enrollment procedures efficiently.
This initiative by the NSS underscores the importance of national service and aims to ensure the seamless integration of trained teachers into the national development agenda through their impactful contributions during the service year.
“All eligible trained teachers are to ensure that they complete their online enrolment process themselves within the stipulated period,” the statement added.
