The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the online re-exhibition of the 2024 Provisional Voter Register will begin from Tuesday, October 15, to Sunday, October 19, 2024.
The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the online re-exhibition of the 2024 Provisional Voter Register from Tuesday, October 15, to Sunday, October 19, 2024.
This initiative seeks to empower registered voters to verify their details and report any discrepancies, thereby fostering a more transparent electoral process.
The announcement came during a Special IPAC meeting on October 1, where the EC reassured stakeholders of its commitment to addressing concerns raised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
To facilitate this process, voters can check their registration details using the short code 71151# at no cost, or by visiting the EC’s website at https://ec.gov.gh.
Upon accessing the site, voters should click on the pop-up link at the bottom-right corner and enter their 10-digit Voter ID number to retrieve their information.
The EC emphasized the importance of reporting any discrepancies to their District Office, noting that corrections must be made before the re-exhibition period concludes on October 19.
The Commission has also called on political parties to actively participate in the re-exhibition by using the provided template to submit any discrepancies identified during this period.
