Agricultural economist and policy analyst Peter Boamah Otokunor has been appointed as the Director of Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture and Agribusiness at the Presidency.
Expressing his gratitude, Otokunor took to Facebook on March 1, 2025, to thank President John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
He pledged to dedicate his expertise and experience to advancing the President’s vision of transforming the country’s agricultural and agribusiness sectors.
“I want to express my deepest heartfelt gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for this rare opportunity to serve in his government,” he wrote.
Otokunor, a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a past Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, brings vast experience in policy and financial economics.
He assured supporters and well-wishers of his commitment to ensuring the success of his new role.
