The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo,” for unlawfully possessing and wearing a police uniform without authorization.
The arrest occurred at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region, following intelligence gathered by local law enforcement.
According to the police, the suspect was found in full police regalia, raising suspicion among residents who tipped off authorities.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Osei Kwame had no ties to the Ghana Police Service and had been parading in the uniform for undisclosed purposes.
The police say he will be arraigned soon, while investigations continue to determine how he obtained the uniform.
