President-elect John Mahama has commence a diplomatic tour to deepen Ghana’s ties with neighboring African countries ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on January 7, 2024.
On December 24, 2024, Mahama engaged in high-level meetings with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Gabon, focusing on trade, security, and sustainable development as part of efforts to position Ghana as a leader in regional cooperation.
