National Media Commission (NMC) has summoned UTV, Oyerepa TV/Radio and 42 other media houses over their broadcast content flagged for offensive material.
The meeting is set for October 31, 2024, at the International Press Centre.
The NMC has been working with the National Communications Authority (NCA) since 2021 to ensure that all broadcast content aligns with legal and ethical standards, while also protecting freedom of expression.
