The Electoral Commission (EC) has launched its nationwide voter exhibition exercise today, August 20, running until August 27.
Dr. Bossman Asare, the Deputy Chairman of the EC in charge of Corporate Services, emphasized that the exercise is crucial for helping voters locate their polling stations.
At a press conference on August 19, Dr. Asare highlighted that voters can request corrections such as adding omitted names, removing deceased persons, and objecting to inaccuracies in the voter register.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, assured that police officers will be deployed to maintain order at voter exhibition centers.
He urged the public to participate actively and to report any security issues to the officers on the ground, promising a responsive and fair approach to any concerns.
