President-elect John Dramani Mahama has taken a decisive step in his anti-corruption agenda with the formation of a preparatory team aimed at combating corruption and ensuring accountability in governance.
The Transition Team announced the move in a statement dated December 18, 2024, signed by spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
The team, described as a multidisciplinary force, is tasked with gathering information on suspected corrupt activities and laying the foundation for Mahama’s flagship initiative, ‘Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL)’.

ORAL, a central promise of Mahama’s 2024 presidential campaign, is designed to reclaim proceeds from corruption and bring offenders to justice.
The preparatory team will leverage public information and credible sources to achieve these goals.
Team Composition
The team, chaired by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, includes high-profile individuals known for their expertise and integrity:
- Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General
- COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye – Retired Police Commissioner
- Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner and Anti-Corruption Advocate
- Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist
