The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has elected a new team of national executives to oversee the affairs of the party following its National Delegates Conference in Kumasi.
Former General Secretary John Boadu was elected National Chairman after securing 2,888 votes in the chairmanship contest at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

He will be joined by Justin Frimpong Kodua, who retained his position as General Secretary with 4,486 votes.
Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, was elected First Vice Chairman, while Henry Nana Boakye became Second Vice Chairman and Nana Akomea was elected Third Vice Chairman.
Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover secured the position of National Organiser, while Mavis Hawa Koomson was elected National Women’s Organiser.
Abanga Fuseini Yakubu emerged as National Youth Organiser, with Alfred Kojo Thompson taking the position of National Treasurer.
Mohammed Ali Suraj was elected National Nasara Organiser, while Dennis Edward Miracles Aboagye was elected National Communications Director unopposed.
The newly elected executives are expected to lead the party’s organisational activities over the next four years as the NPP reorganises its structures ahead of the 2028 general election.
