The CEO of NextGen InfraCo, Tony Mintah, who was declared missing earlier today, has been found. Ghana Police Service had reported that Mr. Mintah was abducted by unknown men from the National Communications Authority’s (NCA) premises.
However, a police update revealed that he “has been found and further details will be provided shortly.”
NextGen InfraCo, a major supplier for Ghana’s upcoming 5G network, expressed immense gratitude to the authorities and the public for their swift intervention.
NextGen InfraCo management released a brief statement confirming that their CEO is safe, thanking both the public and the police for their support.
“We are pleased to inform the public that Mr. Mintah has been located and is safe,” the statement read.
This comes just weeks before the anticipated rollout of the 5G network on November 1, 2024, which the Communications Minister had announced in May.
