The management of Accra Academy has launched an urgent investigation into a shocking case of student violence after a viral video exposed an assault involving a cutlass-wielding student attacking his schoolmates.
According to a statement from school authorities, the incident occurred on January 17, 2025, but was only brought to their attention after the video gained widespread attention on social media.
The school swiftly identified all students involved, handing over the main perpetrator to the police for interrogation. The other accused students, who are all day students, have been asked to stay away from school pending further investigations.
