The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) commences on Saturday, January 13, 2023, with Cote d’Ivoire hosting the finals for the second time.

The Journey:

24 nations battling for continental glory

6 groups of 4 teams each

Group A: Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau
Group B: Egypt, Ghana, Cape Verde, Mozambique
Group C: Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea, The Gambia
Group D: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Angola
Group E: Tunisia, Mali, South Africa, Namibia
Group F: Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia, Tanzania

Four best-ranked third-placed teams join the knockout stage

Second round: Group winners vs. third-placed teams
