A delegation led by popular actor and broadcaster, Akrobeto, has paid a working visit to the Deputy Minister for Transport, Hon. Dorcas Toffey, to discuss strategic collaboration on road safety.
Hon. Toffey, who is also the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency, received the delegation at her office in Accra.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the Road Traffic Regulations (Amendment), with emphasis on public sensitization, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of regulatory compliance across the country.
Speaking after the meeting, Hon. Toffey said the collaboration is aimed at strengthening public education on road traffic laws and ensuring that road users adhere to safety regulations.
She noted that the Ministry remains committed to working with media personalities, civil society, and other stakeholders to reduce road accidents and promote responsible road use in Ghana.
Akrobeto, on his part, expressed readiness to use his platform to amplify road safety messages and support nationwide campaigns on traffic regulations.
