Akua Donkor, leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP); Janet Nabla, flagbearer of the People’s National Party (PNP); and Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah of the Convention People’s Party (CPP)—have officially filed their nomination forms for the upcoming December 7th elections.
The trio arrived at the Electoral Commission (EC) on Thursday to submit their documents, marking their intent to challenge the political status quo.
Akua Donkor, a vocal advocate for the common people, expressed her commitment to driving transformative change, stressing that her leadership would be dedicated to addressing the needs of everyday Ghanaians.
“I am here to champion the concerns of the ordinary Ghanaian,” she stated firmly after presenting her files to EC Chairperson Jean Mensa.
Meanwhile, Janet Nabla commended the EC for lowering the cost for female candidates but urged the body to digitalize the filing process to ease the burden on contestants.
Nana Frimpomaa Kumankumah declared that the CPP is poised to return with policies aimed at eradicating poverty and restoring hope to Ghanaians.
