Ashanti Regional NPP Organizer, Francis Adomako, has commended the party’s national executives for the decision to hold parliamentary primaries early.
Speaking to Prime News on ABC News GH, he explained that the move was timely and strategic in preventing internal tensions from escalating.
“Looking at the pressure that is coming, it tells you that if we had done that at the later part of the year, it would have gone a long way to hurting the party,” he noted.
Mr. Adomako further stressed that the early organization of primaries would allow the NPP to properly manage internal competition and give candidates enough time to prepare ahead of the 2028 elections.
He added that party machinery should be made available to all aspirants in order to ensure fairness and unity as the party gears up for its broader electoral agenda.
