Baba Sadiq has been declared the Member of Parliament-elect for Okaikwei Central following the collation of results from 110 out of 141 polling stations in the constituency.
Declaring based on 110 out of 141 polling stations in the constituency forms a two-third of the final vote deemed lawful to declare.
Speaking after his victory, Baba Sadiq expressed gratitude to the constituents and emphasized his vision for the area.
“I think that this is the point where the constituency is looking for a more visionary man to elevate the constituency,” he stated.
Reflecting on his campaign efforts, Baba Sadiq highlighted the dedication of his team.
“We never slept—morning, afternoon, and evening. When they were sharing food, we were campaigning,” he remarked.
His win comes as part of the ongoing declarations for constituencies, including Ablekuma North and others yet to be finalized.
