U.S. President Joe Biden has unveiled a Presidential Delegation to represent the United States at the inauguration of Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, on January 7, 2025, in Accra.
Leading the delegation will be Shalanda D. Young, Director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.
The delegation includes prominent figures such as Virginia E. Palmer, U.S. Ambassador to Ghana; Karen Bass, Mayor of Los Angeles; and Frances Z. Brown, Senior Director for African Affairs at the White House National Security Council.
This highlights America’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Ghana.
