FIFA has confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium will serve as the venue for Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.
The match is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2025, with kickoff set for 19:00 GMT.
The Black Stars currently sit second in Group I with nine points from four matches, level with leaders Comoros. The team has had a mixed qualification campaign so far, securing three wins and one defeat.
After a disappointing loss to Comoros, Ghana bounced back with two crucial wins in June 2024, reviving their chances of securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The upcoming match against Chad presents a valuable opportunity for the Black Stars to strengthen their position in the group. Playing at home, Ghana will aim to secure all three points before traveling to Morocco for their March 24 clash against Madagascar.
With qualification heating up, the team will be looking to build momentum and edge closer to their World Cup dream.
