The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, is set to launch direct flights between London Gatwick and Kumasi Prempeh International Airport (PIA) on December 3, 2024.
This new route aims to strengthen connectivity between Ghana and the United Kingdom, offering greater convenience for travelers.
The first flight will depart from London Gatwick at 2:10 am, arriving in Kumasi at 9:05 am local time.
From Kumasi, flights will depart at 11:00 am and land in London Gatwick at 6:00 pm.
The GACL has confirmed that further flight schedules will be announced in the coming weeks, marking a huge step in enhancing air travel between Kumasi and international destinations.
