The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced emergency maintenance works on its CLOU Prepayment Metering System server, which will disrupt the purchase and sale of prepaid credit.
The planned maintenance is set to occur from Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, affecting all CLOU prepaid customers at vending points.
ECG is urging customers to buy enough prepaid credit ahead of the scheduled downtime to avoid running out of electricity during the maintenance period.
The company emphasized the importance of preparation, stating that the inconvenience is necessary to ensure the future reliability of the system.
