The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has announced the cancellation of its much-anticipated Presidential Evening Encounter with Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar, founder and leader of the New Force Movement.
The encounter, originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, at 6 pm, was abruptly canceled after Cheddar pulled out of the event without providing any reason.
Cheddar’s unexpected withdrawal has left many questioning the motives behind his decision, as the IEA had previously outlined its schedule for presidential encounters and debates.
The evening with Cheddar was set to precede Alan Kyerematen’s scheduled appearance on September 24, with subsequent presidential debates planned for October 22 and November 19, 2024.
