The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch its 2024 election manifesto today in Takoradi, with thousands of supporters expected to converge at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS).
The event, which follows a massive health walk in the city yesterday, marks a crucial moment in the party’s campaign.
An eleven-member committee chaired by Madam Oboshie Sai-Coffie has been tasked with planning the launch, emphasizing the party’s strategic focus.
Key highlights of the manifesto will center on job creation and business development, with 90% of the content dedicated to these areas.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia campaign, revealed that the NPP intends to build on its track record, having already created 2.1 million jobs.
He emphasized the importance of these initiatives, particularly for the nation’s youth, and assured that the manifesto would drive a thriving economy led by private enterprises.
As the NPP prepares to unveil its vision, the party is positioning itself as the only government capable of delivering sustainable employment.
Aboagye noted that the upcoming election would be a decisive moment for voters, who must choose between the proven job creation record of the NPP and the promises of their rivals.
“The choice should be clear—vote for the one with a proven track record in job creation,” he declared, setting the tone for a fiercely contested election.
