President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Felix Gyamfi as the Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective January 22, 2025.
The announcement was made in an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President, in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
The appointment is subject to advice from the governing Board of the Authority, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Mr. Gyamfi has been asked to confirm his acceptance of the appointment within 14 days.
His leadership will steer the Authority, which plays a vital role in equipping Ghanaian youth for national development and the job market through impactful service to the nation.
