The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued a firm caution to the public against falling prey to a fraudulent online recruitment scheme falsely claiming to represent the Service.
In a statement dated Monday, June 2, 2025, GIS disassociated itself from a website, GOLERNERSHUB.COM, which is promoting an unauthorized protocol recruitment drive.
The Service clarified that no government clearance has been granted for any recruitment at this time and that any official process will be publicly announced through credible national platforms.
GIS further stated that its Intelligence Unit, in coordination with other state security agencies, has launched an active investigation to trace and prosecute the perpetrators behind the scam.
The Service urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious communication related to unofficial recruitment offers.
Reaffirming its commitment to due process and transparency, GIS emphasized that protecting the integrity of its recruitment systems remains a top priority.
