The Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and Ghana Immigration Service have jointly announced the opening of recruitment opportunities for applicants who expressed interest in 2021.

Starting today, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, these security services are inviting qualified Ghanaians to submit their applications for various positions.

The Ghana Police Service is offering roles for General Duty Recruits and Graduate General Duties, requiring applicants to send their details to [email protected] by Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Candidates must meet specific criteria including being Ghanaian by birth, of good character, without a criminal record, and must not have been dismissed from any public service.

Additional requirements include being between 18 and 28 years old, physically and medically fit, and having a minimum of five passes in SSCE/WASSCE, including Mathematics and English.

Similarly, the Ghana Immigration Service is seeking applicants from the 2021 recruitment exercise, who must submit their details to [email protected] by the same deadline.

The Immigration Service mandates similar qualifications to those of the Police Service.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Prisons Service is looking to fill positions for General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen Recruits, Sportsmen/women Recruits, General Duty Graduates, and Graduate Professionals, with submissions to be made to [email protected].

Prisons Service applicants must meet height requirements and fall within specified age limits, with different criteria for sportsmen/women.

Successful applicants for all three services will undergo body selection, document inspection, medical examinations, and thorough background checks.

The security services warn against dealing with middlemen or agents, emphasizing that such actions could lead to arrest and prosecution.
