The Ghana Publishing Company Limited is gearing up for a digital revolution with a plan to establish an advanced eBook platform to serve readers across Ghana and Africa.
Nana Kwasi Boatey Esq., the company’s Acting CEO, revealed this during an interview on ABC News GH, stressing the urgent need for modernization in the publishing sector.
“The world has moved to digitization. A lot of people now read eBooks, but we don’t have an eBook shop,” Esq. Nana Kwasi Boatey stated.
“So we want to develop a very effective eBook store that will transcend Ghana and Africa.”
Beyond eBooks, Esq. Nana Kwasi Boatey emphasized the necessity of expanding the company’s online presence to align with the evolving digital landscape.
“It is a new era, and I want us to be very effective in that sector. We must ensure our business model keeps pace with global digital trends,” he added.
