The government of Ghana is set to commission over 80 educational projects across all 16 regions of the country on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
This initiative aims to enhance access to quality education by providing modern educational facilities that cater to the diverse needs of students. The projects will span basic schools, senior high schools, and technical institutions, with a focus on fostering innovation and excellence in education.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will lead the commissioning ceremonies, which will take place simultaneously at district and regional levels.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum will also play pivotal roles in the event. The ceremonies will be broadcast live across major television networks and social media platforms to ensure widespread participation and visibility.
The projects include the construction of STEM-focused schools, E-blocks, and early childhood education facilities such as kindergartens.
This initiative stresses the government’s dedication to improving the quality of education and ensuring that every Ghanaian child benefits from a conducive and modern learning environment.
