Medeama Sporting Club head coach Ibrahim Tanko has assured supporters that his team is ready to deliver a strong performance and secure all three points in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture against Bechem United this weekend.
After a month-long break from league action, domestic football is finally set to resume, with Medeama SC preparing for a crucial encounter on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the match, Tanko acknowledged the disappointment of their MTN FA Cup elimination but expressed confidence in his players’ response.
“We are very happy that football is coming back. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t play for a month, but now we have the chance to get back to work,” Tanko told Medi TV.
Reflecting on their cup exit, he admitted it was a tough moment for the team but insisted they are ready to bounce back.
“It’s unfortunate we are out of the MTN FA Cup. We definitely disappointed our fans, but I have seen how hard the boys have trained this week. Their energy, focus, and effort give me confidence that we will make the fans happy this weekend,” he added.
Medeama SC will face Bechem United at the TnA Stadium on Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 PM GMT.
