Hannah Serwaa Tetteh, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, has been appointed as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative to Libya and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
The announcement, made on January 25, 2025, by the UN’s Ghana Facebook page, celebrates Tetteh’s groundbreaking role in leading peacebuilding efforts in a region marred by conflict.
