The principal for Holy Child College of Education in Sekondi, Dr Francis Hull Adams has called on the government to help revamp the institution.
He made this statement when the celebrated its 79th Foundation Day Celebration with the theme,” 79 Years Of Empowering Women Educators: Honoring Our Legacy, Inspiring The Future.”
Addressing the audience, Dr Francis Hull Adams stated that,” the school lacks some basic infrastructure which makes it difficult for the school to admit the number of students to the school.”
He emphasized that, they were only able to admit 385 students for the 2024/2025 academic year out of the 2,384 students who applied and they were all qualified to the be in the school.

He further stated that, infrastructures like dormitories, classrooms, dining halls and other facilities cannot accommodate the current students, talk of admitting more students to the school.
Dr Francis Hull Adams went on to say that,” there’s lack of logistics to run the affairs of the school. Logistics like cars for the administrator, vice principal, registrar and other important heads of department are not available making it impossible for them to run administrative tasks for the school.”
Dr Francis Hull Adams therefore called on the government to come to aid and provide assistance to them, to be able to accommodate more students and also for them to run the affairs of the administration.
