Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has commissioned a new head office for the Lands Commission in Accra.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the transformative impact of the facility, which is equipped with cutting-edge digital tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and service delivery.
He highlighted the government’s eight-year agenda to overhaul the sector through infrastructure development, digitization, and capacity building, describing land management as vital to Ghana’s economic and social progress.

The Vice President added that the facility would play a pivotal role in transitioning the Lands Commission’s operations to a fully digital model, reducing delays and enhancing service quality.
The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, lauded the government’s commitment to reforming the sector, citing the new head office as a symbol of progress.
He highlighted other recent infrastructure projects, including a new Greater Accra Regional Lands Commission office and plans to complete the Tema District Office by early 2025.
