The Ministry of the Interior has dismissed claims circulating on social media that certain individuals, including pastors, have been granted special privileges to bypass security checks.
In a statement issued by its Public Affairs and Communications Unit, the Ministry described the allegations as “baseless, entirely false, and should be disregarded immediately.”
Reaffirming its commitment to national security, the Ministry assured the public that security measures apply equally to all citizens without exception.
It further warned against the misuse of its name for criminal activities or the spread of misinformation, emphasizing that such actions undermine national security.
“We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities,” the statement read, cautioning against the dangers of misinformation.
The Ministry also encouraged social media users to verify claims through official channels before sharing, stressing its dedication to transparency and keeping citizens accurately informed.
