Nana Kwasi Boatey Esq., Acting CEO of Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL), believes his background in law will be instrumental in improving the company’s operations and services.
Speaking on ABC News, Boatey discussed his plans to implement a legal directorate within the company to oversee the gazetting of legal documents.
“How better than to go to a place where all the laws of Ghana are assembled and published?” Boatey asked.
“I get to see the laws first before any lawyer does, and I can pinpoint errors in the law. It’s amazing.”
His focus on legal accuracy is expected to raise the standard of the company’s output, ensuring that the documents published are free from errors.
He also noted that the legal directorate would act as a key element in enhancing transparency and efficiency in the publication process.
Boatey’s promises come after David Asante, the former Managing Director of GPCL, officially handed over to him on Tuesday, February 18.
