The Office of the President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, has vehemently condemned the circulation of false appointment lists on social media, clarifying that these documents are entirely fabricated and not authorized by the incoming administration.
In a statement issued by the Office on Monday, December 16, it was categorically stated that the lists circulating online, claiming to detail appointments and nominations by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, are baseless and misleading.
The Office urged the public to disregard these unauthorized claims and refrain from spreading unverified information that could cause confusion.
“We wish to categorically state that these lists are false and unauthorized,” the statement read.
“We urge all individuals and media outlets to refrain from circulating such speculative documents and to rely solely on official communications from our office.”
The statement further emphasized that the President-elect’s official appointments and nominations will be made public through proper channels and announcements once they are finalized.
Mahama’s office called for patience and adherence to reliable sources to avoid misinformation.
The warning comes as a response to the growing spread of unofficial documents and rumors surrounding the incoming government’s transition process, a common issue during such times of political change.
