A Political Scientist at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mohammed Abass, has praised President John Dramani Mahama for what he describes as a renewed and genuine commitment to national development since assuming office in January.
Speaking on ABC in the Morning, Mr. Abass noted that the President has demonstrated growth by learning from past governance experiences and responding thoughtfully to the concerns of citizens.
“This is logical that he has changed, given the experiences that he has gone through. Mahama this second time is not the same as the Mahama before,” he stated.
Mr. Abass emphasized that the President’s recent address on the 120-day social contract showcased tangible efforts to deliver on promises, adding that “so far we have seen good intention from him.”
He, however, called for continued vigilance and urged government appointees to uphold objectivity and neutrality in their roles.
